WorkSafeBC & NAOEM
Joint Conference for Community Physicians
Friday and Saturday, December 3-4, 2021
The Northwest Association of Occupational and Environmental Medicine is again pleased to present a joint conference with WorkSafeBC, the agency that is responsible for worker’s compensation in British Columbia. The conference is entirely virtual – there is no need for travel. It is intended to address the needs of providers who see injured workers in their practices, and will also be of interest to occupational medicine practitioners in government, corporate, and academic settings.
- A popular evening workshop that addresses approaches to patients with chronic pain
- An update of last year’s fascinating presentation on the psychology of pandemics
- Presentations and a panel discussion by Canadian and US physicians describing approaches to PACS (“Long COVID”)
- Choices from among 15 breakout sessions covering a wide range of topics
…And much more!
Our outstanding group of speakers has been recruited from throughout the United States and Canada. Sessions will be recorded and available for viewing after the conference.
For more information and to register, please go to 2nd Annual WorkSafeBC & NAOEM Joint Conference for Community Physicians | Course | UBC CPD. The early bird registration fee, valid through November 7, is CAD 179 + 5% GST, or approximately US $152 at current exchange rates.
We hope to see you online in December!
